Solar ROI Calculator:- Estimate Your Solar Payback in India(Bharat)
Today our government is giving a lot of benefits on solar like subsidy in residential and GST in commercial. In such a situation switching to solar is one of the smartest investments you can make today. But one doubt remains in our mind that how quickly will it pay off?
We are a solar vendor doing solar business with a company which has 1 year experience and based on that we have created our Solar ROI Calculator for India which gives you accurate estimate of your system cost, energy savings, payback period and environmental benefits.
How the Solar ROI Calculator Works?
This tool includes the following factors that help this tool to make accurate calculations:
System size in kW:- Here you have to tell how many kW of solar you are planning to install.
Cost per kW (with subsidy options):- How much per kW solar dealers are providing you by installing solar at your place.
Electricity charges in ₹/kWh:- Here you have to tell how much electricity is being provided per unit at your place. (You can find this out by checking your light bill.
Annual electricity usage:- Here you have to tell the estimated units that you use in the whole year.
Optional loan input with EMI-based interest calculation:- You have to fill this if you are planning to install solar by taking a loan. (We calculate this at an average 10% interest)
It will then calculate and provide the following information:
Total System Cost (with or without loan):- It will give you information about how much your system cost is going to be and if you are thinking of taking a loan, then it will also calculate that and show it to you.
Annual Solar Production:- It will show you how many units your solar can produce in a year.
Annual Electricity Savings:- It will tell you how much money you will save in a year after installing solar.
Estimated Payback Period:- It will tell you what your estimated payback period is with and without a loan.
Tree Equivalent & COâ‚‚ Emission Reduction:- It will tell you how much your decision to install solar is going to benefit our environment.
